Vectorize turns raster logos into reviewable SVG paths and then packages the approved result for common brand surfaces. It is an independent product built and operated by stemonte.

## Logo conversion needs a narrower promise.

A generic image converter can make almost any bitmap technically scalable while leaving it hard to edit—or even hiding the same pixels inside an SVG file. Vectorize was made around a more useful job: recover the shapes and flat colors of logos, icons, badges and wordmarks, then make the result easy to inspect.

The product deliberately does not promise automatic professional reconstruction for every image. Fine lettering, compression, photographs, complex gradients and tiny source files can remove evidence that tracing software cannot honestly restore.

## From upload to an SVG you can inspect.

Vectorize combines a Python image-processing pipeline with a Node path tracer. Processing happens on the Vectorize server; it is not performed only in your browser.

1. ### Validate and prepare the raster

The server validates PNG, JPEG or WebP input, corrects orientation, constrains oversized images and prepares transparency or a removable plain background.
2. ### Find regions and a useful palette

The pipeline groups visually connected color regions. It can flatten mild variation, but it does not claim to recover certified brand colors from damaged pixels.
3. ### Trace editable paths

Each selected region is traced into SVG geometry. The export contains paths and fills instead of embedding the uploaded bitmap in an SVG wrapper.
4. ### Let a person approve the result

The original and vector stay side by side while you adjust palette, smoothing, framing and visible colors. Export happens after review, not before it.

## The benchmark shows where the method bends.

Five controlled logo cases test color regions, shape overlap, topology and low-resolution failure. The set helped develop the prototype, so it is useful evidence—not an independent proof of superiority.

## Temporary processing, stated plainly.

Source files, revisions and downloads are temporary and normally expire after two hours. During the beta, failed jobs may be kept privately for diagnostics for up to 14 days. Do not upload confidential artwork.
